I'm not there so I can't say for sure but that doesn't sound right. If the motor seized up on you on the highway wouldn't it have locked the...
Great job so far! Loving the thread
Sounds like you know what you're doing. Could very well be the previous owner did something to the airbox like you suspect. The K&N oil filter...
Careful with K&N Oil filters. They tend to leak. Also, unless you get the rare K&N Air Filter with the larger filter area it's not worth the...
I'm in southern Ontario area much like Zombie, but I'm in the Greater Toronto Area. Last ride of last year was around November. I rode a couple...
Good find on the bike...hopefully it has more hidden goodies for yeah. Sorry to hear about the hand. Get better soon!

We're still talking about bikes, right?

Odd. It's not a common issue with the 5th gens (or any VFR as far as I know)
Yeah those Delvics are mighty sweet looking, I'll readily admit to that. I'm sure they will look great compared to stock 98/99 factory headers....
I know someone selling one in Canada
I'm not replying to this in defense of the 4th gen...more of a devils advocate. My 4th gen needed ZERO carb work, and the fueling of the carbs...
