    Thanks for the reply. New questions: Does the rectifier fail and need to be replaced, or does it just cause the overheating of the connectors...

    Today I'm going to look at an '86 VFR 750. The seller isn't asking for much and says it's an F2. Any common problems I should look out for on this...
