They could simply be poor connections behind the cluster or further down in the harness. I would pull them and double check they are all the way...

Ahh man. I think there is someone online that makes aluminum replacements. But that may have been just for the VFR/RVF. Worth a search.

Got my Cal license on a borrowed one. All the boys and girls laughed at me. It was '93. I will never go back! lol
V4dreams has some good replacement gear. I just sonic bath jets. Works every time... so far.
