another fan of plastex. one thing to note. For replacement tabs and we all have those that are broken, its better to build it up in layers over...

these bikes don't need iridium plugs as the standard plugs do fine. However if you have them its worth fitting.
check plugs - however I always replace them if I feel I need to check them. I suspect nothing is wrong.
Ride the bike now.. at the point you can't ride it due to weather, then sort the garage. Then fix the bike
