Woo Hoo! Congratulations! Nothing like the feeling of a new bike. Oh, be sure to check fluid levels and tire pressure before you ride away from the dealer. There are a couple of threads here that suggest dealers aren't always as thorough as we would like them to be...

Congrats... Remindes me of my exciting day just eight months ago. In addition to checking the fluids, check the vin # against your paperwork. I know it sounds strange, but my cousin baught a new CBR 1000 a couple of moths ago and they mixed up the vin from another bike (who da thunk it...)!

    Good advise

I bought my new 05 in 2006, The bike were sit for while and I bought them late at night (You usualy get better deal before closing time) When I took the bike home There is not much oil in the engine, I have to fill them up and return to the dealer giving them hell. After 15 minute :vader:they agree to give me an oil change and inspection.

    Wow.

I don't think I would be able to stand it. When I bought my 06 in July 06, it was still in the crate and they had i ready for me in 1 1/2 days. Worst part of it all was that I didn't even have a learners license so the salesman had to drive it to my house.

But 50,000 KM later I got over it.

I'm waiting for mine to get shipped up to Norcal from LA, and the transfer truck only runs once a week. I missed the last delivery by 3 hrs!
