Hey zazzu...I'm new to this site as well. It would be fun to get a PNW VFR group together. Next weekend I already have plans all weekend, but after that I would love to get a ride in. I wonder when the passes open over Mt. Rainier. I'm itchin' to do the ride around to Yakima and home—it makes for a whole day ride though. It sounds like RVFR would be up for a ride too. What about you, PNW_Rider?

Okay, ya sure you'll get the email? haha with an addrerss like that makes me wonder :) was going to check things out, seeing how the roads are up in thy hills. Thou guess what? There's a group wanting to ride around. coming down from Renton over thru Yelm then down around Olympia heading up Hood canal, just wanted to throw that out just in case you could be interested. More info can be had at www.pnwriders.com I'm hot on the VFR meet of sorts for this area so stay tunned for updates as they will come up.

Hello i'm new to the forum but i ride just about every day, unless it's a downpour. It's not that uncommon for me to take off at 2pm on a random day and do a 300 mile loop somewhere. :) Oh yeah and I live in Puyallup, WA

Hey RVFR, Yeah i found out the hard way that FR #25 wasn't open yet. I did the Rose City 500 out of Portland a couple of weekends ago and we thought we'd take a short-cut up to Randle, there was ten of us coming up from Portland and we had to double back cuz it's still closed!! That is a great road and the Windy ridge rd to St Helens also good. Last weekend a Pal and I rode out to Cle elum and up Blewett pass over to Leavenworth and back over Stevens and home. Fun stuff I think we left at 3pm. Ciao

    Lets Ride!

I would very much like to ride with all of my VFR brothers and sisters. I live in OLY, Wa., but will ride anywhere in WA and most of OR., for a group ride.

Nice pics, I saw the same sign just on the other side of the road ha ha. But it still was a good time and the roads coming up were great. The Cougar police officer even stopped us and didn't know if it was still closed. No tickets she just wanted to know why so many motorcycles at 800am.

New PNW rider - join you on the next ride?

Just purchased a 2004 VFR new from I-90 Motorsports in Issaquah, outside Seattle. I'm interested in joining this group on a ride the next time you go out, and meet the members! Thanks!

Welcome,Rumpigvfr, might want to get in touch with Viffervixen, she too lives up in your neck of the woods and is also on a couple other more local forums that post up rides. I feel the need to push the VFR users into another group on a couple sites, Not that this one isn't good, but my other riding buds don't viist here when posting up a ride, Good to see another VFR owner, yes do check here for rides, another place is PNWriders.com also I've heard and checked there is a mimi VFR meet in Newport Oregon in Aug. its being put on by a couple other guys in another VFR forum that I use to be in, till the adman turned out to be a Jerk and booted my ass.. http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=20295&st=0

Hey! Welcome. Yeah...we do live in the same neck of the woods. And perfect timing too. I went on two long rides this weekend. Saturday to Neah Bay (370 round trip) and yesterday around Mt. Rainier and yakima (390 total) and during yesterday's ride my bike started doing something funny around 4,500 rpms. It's suddenly loosing power, the speed drops about 5mph, then it feels like it catches and jumps forward. I know it isn't the VTEC....I think I've figured that one out now, but this new thing is really frustrating. So anyway, my question is what are your feelings about I-90 Motorsports? I'm not entirely happy with service at RMC where I bought mine, and I-90 is so much closer.

    VV
