Riot Grrrl's Accident update (Australia)

Hi all. I'm not sure is Riot Grrrl posts here, but if not, I thought I'd share an inspirational story of her recovery after a really nasty accident. I hope I am not breaching protocol by linking to another forum.

I just finished reading her story, and watching the slide show. It is very unfortunate that she crashed, but she has come back very well. She is a very strong and brave girl!!

 

Thank you for posting her story here. It really makes you think about what is most important. Shorty is definitely right when she says she is a brave and strong girl.

The bag she made out of her JR jacket was pretty neat!

 

I've been watching her posts on 'the other forum' since before the accident: getting her license, dyeing the jacket, the countdown till she got her VFR and could ride it...then everything that came after. I looked at the slide show and it sure looks like her bike was run over. She's come back a long way and i wouldn't be surprised in the least to see her walk again.

 

She's a lucky girl and a truly amazing !! i trust she has GOD in her hart because .... he kept her here for a reason , she should never ever give up on him. he has not given up on her, and it shows.
i wish good luck to her and her family. if anyone could ever walk after that..... it would be her. and that jacket is awesome now !!

I hope she continues do get better, thought it is sad to know she had such severe injuries. I remember trading msgs with her and she always was a kidder. I even remeber her talking about her trying to dye her JR jacket the same color as her bike. I haven't been over on VFRD for a long while and so I don't remember if this was posted there or I even saw a posting about her having an accident. Not to offend anyone, but I think God had an angel watching her that day and God be with her, always.
