Hi, I've been sort of lurking around here for a while, but finally decided to join. I'm an "ooold" Enduro/Trials rider who had the lend of a friends VFR for a week or so and found I HAD to have one(Duuh!). I had to put thinner cheek pads in my helmet on account of the fact that my cheeks hurt so bad from grinning when I rode the the thing. My new RWB will be ready in about a week (no pix yet). I currently have a '98 MZ Mastiff (only had it 2 months) with only a few miles on it(5000), but it's gotta go, so anyone looking for a smokin' deal on a Yamaha 660-powered supermotard, give a yell. I have a bunch of learning to do about riding on the street and will take the course shortly. I'll only be touring with it (so I say now, anyway :)), so don't give me any chicken-strip stuff just yet. I like what I've heard from you guys, so I'm happy to be here. Paul

    Welcome Paul.

You've picked the perfect bike for your first street bike. I too came from the dirt/bush trails and purchased an 07 RWB as my first street bike. You'll have a blast.

Thanks! No small deal dropping this kind of money, but time is short. I'll definitely use your guy's insanity to rationalize this to my wife and family. My son in RI wants it when I'm done, so there'll be another member around when that happens. He originally wanted a VFR, but could only afford a SuperHawk. Poor boy! He DID get to choose the color on this one (I liked it best, too).
