Pensky is USA built, rebuilable, more adjustable than OEM and can be had for OEM money.

    Employ a neighbor in Pennsylvania!

Mine is a 1985 VF700F. When it went, I tried to rebuild it, even though it was a sealed unit. It didn't work. I researched a number of them and went with a HYPERPRO. Type 40, HO07-014SXHXRXO, $600, May 2006. It looks nice, fit nice, and feels good. I don't put many miles on a year, but I haven't touched it since I put it on. Good Luck.

try search for 929 shocks. Good replacement and just need to extend the top mounting bracket. Otherwise you are looking at 900 for a nice shock from Penski or Owens anyway.

    Thank you Tim

Traxxion seems pretty on it. When I get the money - i'm definitely going to order from them. Thanks so much for the tip.
