I used the dealer finder on Akuma's website. The closest dealer to me listed has never heard of them & doesn't have any in stock. I can't find them anywhere.

    KC-10 FE out...

HelmetHarbor's written evaluation of the Akuma V1/V2:

Ghostrider Full Face | Helmet Harbor

I get all my helmets from them. Fast shipping, and the site has a lot of reviews and info on most helmets on the market. Lot of YouTube vids on their reviews as well.

I'm waiting for the Marine Corps version; supposed to be released (or at least design complete) later this year. Then I'll be able to use my SparX as a standby instead of primary.

webbikeworld.com thought pretty highly of them - they describe the fit in this review (there are a couple of other reviews on the site as well of different Akuma models).

I've seen one and tried it on. The exact one I tried was the Ghostrider. Linky Here: Akuma Helmets Official Website

The paint work is really detailed and looks really good. As for the construction quality of the helmet I've been more impressed with helmets half the cost. The liner inside looks like it was superglued on plus the visor mechanism wasn't quite right. Maybe it was a fluke but webbikeworld.com gave it a really good review.

If you really want a good helmet AND good looks I think you'd be better off getting a Scorpion, Aria, or Shoei and commission a spray paint artist to do whatever you want on the helmet.

If you like gadgetry check out the Reevu helmet which is the world's first REAR view mirror helmet: Reevu MSX1 Helmet - webBikeWorld

    Now THAT is cool!
