    Hi all,
came across your site searching for replacement rear light for my bike CB1000 & saw a post by Waldrm, he has a CB1000 which he says has a LED rear light I would be interested in, also looking for a belly pan & rear hugger or do you guys call it a Fender? Anyway have pm'd waldrm. It does'nt matter that I don't have a VFR we are all Honda people here to help each other.
    Here's a few pics

I have just been asked to put it on the Honda Owners stand at one of are big bike shows in Novemeber. I have told them, only if it is attended at all times and they pay for any damage, oh & I get tickests for the press day, that way I get to see all the models sitting, lying & generally lounging all over the bikes.

I really like the looks of that bike.

    I like:
the paint job, the red & white looks great
the red wheels are a nice touch
the exposed polished headers are sweet
    gold chain & calipers
    black frame
faux oil tank covers, they are a nice throw back to the 70's CB's
    fork brace
braided oil lines & polished radiator surround

    I don't like:
    that head light fairing
the V&H stickers, they really detract from the bike
the front fender looks a little too small
the bar end mirrors, I don't like them on any bike

All in all, that is one sharp bike. Cheers.

    KC-10 FE out...

KC-10 FE, thanks for your comments, I agrree with you about the mirrors they are a pain but until I can find better I'll stick with them, the front fender is too small it allows water past it to easily and thorws all over the engine, but I dont like the extenders look fugging ugly, I'm open to suggestions you may have. As original post looking for belly pan & rear hugger, hoping it will give the bike a more 'beaffy look' if that makes sense.
I always accept comments good, bad or indifferent.
    Thanks again

yep, im with KC 10 on the bikini fairing. it would look just fine with a bigg ass round headlight instead IMO. I 'm a big naked muscle bike fan, espesh the liter plus bikes, having owned a ZRX 11 & 12 so understand where your coming from with the styling. one of the best styling mods i did was to get a sargent seat with colour coded piping for my ZRX. your seat looks fairly stock, have you considered this option also? love the twin ohlins and interesting mount position for the steering damper- not seen that one before:eek:

keep flyin the flag for dear old blighty

To be different you have to experiment, everyone has the big headlight, not seen anything that takes my fancy to replace it, any idea's?
Think the colour coded seat would be way over the top, anyone there that could photochop one just to see what it would look like.
