    Hello, I am new to the site. I just purchased a 2003 holdover a few weeks ago

    maintenance

    any maintenance tips anyone has would be appreciated. The Honda dealer said to do the first oil change at 1000 miles but in checking the manual it says 600 miles. Any advice anyone has would be great

    The first oil change is important! Go with the manual and have it done at 600 miles. Oil changes are cheap insurance.

    thanks for the advice, i will be sure to get in at 600 miles. This site has been great, I am learning a lot of info about the VFR's.
