What's the best way to secure two helmets on the bike. I've tried everything from placing the helmets on the rear grab bars and trying to lock tem together with a bike lock, but the seat want shut, too looking at a Denis Kirk catalog for a universal helmet lock to put on the other side of the bike. You'd thought Honda would've places the hooks under the locking seat?

But how do I secure that to the bike. Do I replace the two pins that are already there? Then buy the two little locks that keeps those extenders from coming off?

Is there anyway to secure them while riding? cause those will also add length then the helmets will be rubbing the tire/chain/ground?

You slide the blade thru the helmet rings just as shown but it's long enough to go thru 2 of them. The bottom helmet goes upside down & the top right side up. It works, I've used one but I don't have it anymore to take a photo. Just be careful you don't scratch the helmets.

    That's me

One of my helmets did not come with D-rings due to it being a quick disconnect helmet. Will the seat still close using this cable?

I've run a beefy Kyptonite cable lock through the chin guards on two full face helmets before. No D ring required.

run the loops of the cable...they come w/loops on both ends...... through what you want to lock.....and lock both loops in the helmet lock.....nice for jackets too.no need for helmet rings..and seat stays on....i got mine for 6bucks..cheap insurance.

I just use a retractable ski/snowboard cable lock, and run it through the visor opening on the helmets and around the frame. When i am done it goes back in my tank bag. If someone wants your helmet badly enough to be able to cut through that, then they will probbaly do enough other damage anyways.

I got a small antitheft cable , about 8 inches with loops on both ends..it was the helmet lock thing from the vstrom thing..only good thing about that bike..but anyway..Nothing to carry, I always leave it hooked on the stock helmet lock and its long enough to hook 2 helmets thru it to the lock....simple.I do however carry a light duty cable lock for tieing my jacket to the bike when I want to go exploring.
