    Hey folks,
I googled it and there is a company making bicycle racks for motorcycles. Only a few models fitted at this point but 'Johnnyrack' is working on one for VFR800.

It would be even funnier if someone road that setup two up, with the passenger riding the mounted bicycle.

What a clown! Nice find Viff! hahaha!

Hey John....contact "hondawolf" on this board. I believe that he did this exact thing (hauled a mtn bike on his VFR) last year. I think that he just took the wheels off and laid it so the bike was laying long ways to each side. He said it wasn't really much wider than his saddles I think. Hit him up.

I've done it, took my mtn. bike 220 miles each way to go riding with a friend. I have the pic for my profile pic. Just got to figure out how to inset a pic.

The vfr was the only way to take the mtn bike on. I don't plan on having to do it more than a couple times a year. I have a good friend down in San Louis, and I ride the bike whenever I go down. No way I'm driving my 15mpg truck, just to transport the mtn. bike.

    Thread revival..

My bicycle rack has a top box for bicycle helmet, shoes, change of clothes and plenty of room for storage.
The whole setup does not obstruct view of tail/brake light, turn signals and does not add width to overall motorcycle.

I usually get pretty beat after a good bicycle ride.
That's why I put my bicycle on my scooter, relaxed riding position, not carrying anything on my body, no shifting, no clutch, just twist and go.
Life is too short to punish yourself after doing something you enjoy.

I think member here, Flailer, had one rigged up to his VFR. But he hasn't been active here since 2011. He was at one of the R3 fiascos several years ago. 2009 I think. He helped pick me up on one of my misadventures. Talk about resurrection of an old thread.
