I couldn't take it anymore and placed an order today for a Sargent Seat. Ordered it from Sandhillspowersports for $320.00..this includes Free UPS Ground Shipping. They are currently on sale from $379.00.
I did lots of searching the internet and besides a group buy (Silver you bastage:biggrin: ) this appears to be the best deal.
When it arrives, I'll post some pictures. Curious to see the built in under storage area.

I just got my Sargent seat from Sandhills last Friday. They shipped it out very quickly and my rear end is forever thankful! Great seat.

You guys are a bunch of copy cats. Get your own idea! Trust me, you'll love the Sargent Seat. My butt thanks me every time i get off the bike. If I egged you on into getting the seat then I'll take my "bastage" label with pride!

I got mine with the Silver piping to match the bike of course! Ben, did I mention the group buy for only $300? I know, I'm bastage...

Don't get too excited about the under seat storage. It's a nice add on but not big enough for more than your registration, insurance card and a condom...

As long as I can put my car keys or my cellphone(Treo 650) in there, it's ok. That ebay sergent seat from ebay that's on this tread look tempting. So sad there's no moneys on my walleet! :pout:

Hey, just saw this post- I made the same order for my '07 from Sandhill last Tuesday and got the tracking # last Friday. Per UPS, it is still somewhere in Newbraska. Hopefully it will be here this week... the supposed delivery date is May 1st.

Anyone have good experience with Sandhill? I ordered the part 6 days ago and no posting et on my credit card.... I just want to have the (right) seat by the 18th for a 4 day trip.

    Carl

My arse is likin sargent ....at first didn't notice alot of difference, now theres some miles on the seat broken in to my skinny butt. big difference on the long rides over stock.

if your a Canadian ordering one ask them to include NAFTA papers when shipping to save some tax

It should fit the cell phone and keys. If that's all you're putting in there you'll be happy. I haven't found a use for it yet since i keep all my paperwork in my jacket. I switch between bikes with the same jacket so both registration cards are in there. Of course the old 750 hasn't been on the road for a year now so i don't know why i do it!

Hey, sorry for the late response. I had a softball game last night that didn't end until 10:30.
Carl I think we are good. May 1st is the delivery date on mine as well. I've ordered from Sandhills before, and never had an issue. I called them last week to check on the status and they were very helpful.
Like yourself, just waiting on Thursday!!!

Thanks for the reply. I have never dealt with Sandhills before but was turned onto them when a co-worker ordered a Sargent seat for his v-strom. And it is hard to beat the discounted price, no sales tax, and free shipping. :)
