    Hello all,

I am new to the VFR forum. i frequent the 600rr.net forum mostly but i am thinking about purchasing a 1994 VFR.

My father currently owns a 1990 VFR that I take out for spins once in a while.

I am on here to look for info and advice on VFR's. I am thinking about doing some valve shims on my dad's 90 and the 94 I am looking at will need the same.

Anyways, I am looking forward to browsin the sight and asking some questions.

welcome revallot, you found the right site for VFR's. If you need mechanical help, post a thread in the Mechanics Garage. As a Honda motorcycle mech., I find the help you get there to be good. I'll tell you this, shim under bucket valve trains are solid. Do a compression test first, if the cyls. are more than 10% off from each other a valve job might be in order. Does the engine sound ticky at all? Have fun.
