Who Hates Dani Pedrosa?

OK, since I am the un-official or offical Hater of VFRWorld I have a question.

I've noticed MotoGP racer Dani Pedrosa has a growing fan club that really hates him, some of you are on VFRWorld. I do not have cable so I can't watch races and the only racing info I get is reading the occasional Road Racing World when I am in the grocery store. I did see some interview were he attacked Nicky Hayden verbally, but that's about it.

So why the Pedrosa hate'in. He like Max Biaggi or something?

Any team mate that would unapologetically wreck another team mate(intentionally or not) is a not nice person. He's the example of the guy that wil do anything to win-even if it means breaking his own team mate's hand to do it. Does not deserve to be on a Honda.

 

What;s the story their drewl? He crash into Hayden and blame Hayden?

During the second to last race of the season when Hayden won the championship, dani took out Nicky in a turn that he had no bussiness trying to make a pass on. Dani made the assertion that he "could" win the championship so that was why he was riding aggresively. had Rossi not crashed out on the last race Nicky would not have been the Champ.

A few people have remarked they don't like his dull riding style on track and seemingly cold indifference off track, the Hayden incident didn't do him any favours though.

Wasn't pedrosa the one that whined and cried about the first GP race at laguna? and then later crashed out? something about the track being too dangerous?

LOL, I do I do. I mean I can't really hate anyone I don't know personally, but he does come a across as a spoiled brat. LOL and he's been known to burn a bike or two also.

 

Pedrosa is a very talented racer.

I said something nice, so now I can say something not so nice.

As a team mate, Pedrosa sucks balls. He crashed into his team mate. He refused to shake Lorenzo's hand, requiring the KING (not burger king, but the emporeror) of Spain to get Dani to shake. Earlier this year Dani fell during testing, then bitched about how Nicky is not good at development, then he rocks the first races.

Dani is the Repsol dude since Repsol is a Spanish company, they need him, Honda does not.

He may be a great guy that the press only portrays as a little ass wipe, but life is too short for the Nozzle to find out. I'd rather ride a Harley behind Eddie Murphy while he sings than be Pedrosa's "team mate"

 

You folks are really gonna be pissed if he wins the title :biggrin: .....love him or hate him, the guy is a competitor who can ride the wheels off a bike. I happen to like the iceman, take no prisoners style of Pedrosa - reminds me a lot of Kimi Raikkonen. Go ahead and whine, he doesn't give 2 shits and it cracks me up!

 

us? whine? not even close to the sniveling he does about his own team mate. I may not be able to ride like him but i sure as hell have better class, a do most of the other riders. even rossi has more class than dani

 

I'm not what one could call a fan of his. Taking out Nicky in '06 was stupid and selfish. That said, I will second NCB's comments. I saw him win his first and second 250 GP titles at Philip Island, and I will say that he is one of the most unrelenting racers I've ever seen. He's like Mick Doohan in that regard.

In 2004, when he clinched at PI, he had come back that year from a horrendous crash in 2003 at PI where he had shattered both ankles. He absolutely will not quit; he came from behind in his race at PI in 2005 to win the championship for a second time, and his force of will was pretty intimidating.
