Todays Ride With Double S

Today was a great day, went on a nice 200+ mile ride, most of it with my buddy SilverSurfer!

First off, Thanks Double S for joining me today, it was good times. Please upload some of your shots to this thread so we can all see the day from your perspective!

Our ride started off at the ferry terminal in Larkspur, CA, we then proceeded south on Hwy 101 to Mill Valley, we got off the slab and headed up and over Mt. Tamalpais out to Hwy 1 via the Bolinas Rd. Once on Hwy 1 we ripped out to Inverness for a bite to eat, then went north on 1 through Pt Reyes Station up to Tomales. At this point we had such a good time in the twisties that we turned around and retraced our path, this time going through Stinson Beach before taking off back up and over Mt. Tam. It sure was fun, I hope that some of you other folks might be able to join us some time this summer......you listening Reg and R-Dub?

I'm still waiting on Double S to post up his shots, he didn't actually make it home for a scheduled appointment.......so I hope they come later tonight. Come on Double S, where's the pics? :biggrin:

Nice pics guys, good company makes good rides great! We got rained out this weekend on our 500 mile ride to Oregon this weekend I'm still planning on riding Northern California twice this year so hopefully all of the "Chat" group will be able to hook up at least once this year

 

I want to visit Cali again. Everything looks sooooooooo NICE!

Took a ride yesterday all around the Paso area (Reg's neighborhood) on the XX... It was about to celebrate one year in the garage on its stand, so something had to be done...

Blew through a tank of gas in about 100 miles on the back roads... Passed a few Priusesses that weren't so happy with my carbon footprint.

 

SLO. it was really windy up here this weekend, too! And cold..never got out of the 50's even at 4:30 PM....

 

Hey SLOav8r. Like the avatar. Love the carne asada burritos with potato pieces and a LOT of salsa verde. I don't get it from a truck tough.

 

The wind wasn't so bad on Sunday. Most of the hills blocked the heavy winds and only affected me on the bridges. The new Double Bubble wind screen makes a huge difference!

As for the blood colt issue, I almost don't even notice it anymore. The Meds have been making a great difference and I should be back to 100% very soon. Thanks for the concern! eace:

Now its time to start thinking about Moto GP at Laguna!!

 

Wind, rain, snow, cold...and you buggers on the other side of the hill carving it up. PISH. ONE OF THESE DAYS! I was forced to drive the cage to work yesterday due to snow. Glad someone had fun.
