    Hi!

I'm looking for something a tad more lively than the current G&G slipon that sits on my ´99 VFR.

Micron has discontinued the 5th gen. their high level, carbon finish silencer was my primary choice, but my only hope is that there is a retailer out there with those in stock.
My other choices would be the D&D or even the Staintune (not too sure about the raspiness of the latter).

Does anyone know of a store with these in stock, that would be prepared to ship to me in Sweden?

    Kind regards

    /J

Using this website necessitates speaking German. If you don't or don't know anyone who does, then this obviously won't help you. When I lived in Germany, this was the ONLY place I ever shopped for motorcycle stuff. I don't know if they will ship to Sweden but I don't see why they wouldn't. Polo has pretty much anything a person could possibly want for any bike ever sold in Europe.

    KC-10 FE out...

Thanks guys, I do speak a little german. :)

I'd prefer to find a retailer in the US, as the exchange rate is....ummm...favourable. ;) The euro is alot stronger than the USD at the moment, and the s&h would be similar.

    :)

I'm thinking Staintune for the noise, but like the aesthetics of the carbon fibre look better on a red VFR - ho-hum.

I have a Staintune high mount on my '01 (red of course) and it just looks maaarvelous! Like it belongs there.

Raspy? Not unless a small block V8 on the boil is raspy...

Howdy SGM; Well I have a D&D carbon fiber slip on and a new mid pipe on my 00 VFR.
Just to let you know, the D&D runs so quietly that I called the factory in
Texas to see what could be done to make the pipe sound a bit liveler. The
D&D R and D dept got back to me and said if you want us to make the
unit louder we will ,but expect to loose a little power. I dont like
loosing power,so I decided to be happy with it as it stands. Anway if
you want to make me an offer I will entertain it. eddie
