well guys, I just finished getting rid of the big nasty cat. I made a Y-pipe with 1 7/8 and 1 5/8 in exhaust tubing. My welding skills arent the best, but they will work.
I have the Staintune exhaust with no baffles, pair block offs, and evap removed.

I also cut off the center stand bracket and re welded it to the new y-pipe.

    It sounds incredible!!!!

After it was all installed, i noticed an exhaust leak. looked around and it was the bracket on the pipe going to the mufflers. The weld cracked and seperated from the pipe. took it all back apart and rewelded it together.

Now I am done! When I get it dyno tuned I will let you guys know how it runs

    Yep, you 2 nailed me.
it is my motorhead stage II turbo for my 2003 Hayabusa. Intercooler, secondary controller and injectors and also a turbo motor built by fornerelli racing out of illinois.
My busa is heading down to austin in a few weeks to be put together and tuned by Johnny Cheese. imho the best tuner out there for busas.

The motor can handle up tp aboput 550rwh and with that turbo setup capable of up to 520 or so. I will have it tuned for street trim around 350rwh and later will have it go up to 450 for the track with a multi stage boost controller. I found a company that will make a boost controller which works by each gear position. 1stgear 285hp 2nd 315 3rd 350 4th 350 5th 450

That is the main reason I purchased the vfr is that the busa will not be as streatable as it was before all the motor and turbo work.

I have a few pics of the bike in my gallery. I bought it used last year with one panel with a hole in it. I was friends with a Bodyshop manager and we had one of his bodymen do the artwork.

Hopefully I will have it down in a month.
