I have a 99' VFR800 which has a Yoshimura slip on I want to replace it with the stock exhaust. Is it literally unbolt, replace, and bolt on? OR do I need to automatically replace something like the gasket/gasket ring etc.
    Thanks.

    exhaust slip on

The stock can uses a "packing" gasket of sorts that fits around the header pipe to make a seal when you tighten the slip-on clamp. Some aftermarket pipes (Staintune for sure) require that this packing be removed. I don't know about Yosh pipes but it might be a good idea to order a new header gasket before you swap out back to stock.

Why go back to stock? Too loud?
