    Hi,

    Sorry for bustin' in on this site. Appreciate anyone who spends time to help out the VFR Community.

    In saying that, it looks like there are issues with vfrdiscussion.com

    For the past few days I can't get on the site at all. Always getting "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".. Sometimes I might be able to get it via google cache, but not very often.

    Anyone else having issues with the site?

    I cant get there either, I was going to look at some expired vfr recalls and i cant get to the site....

    nope. It has been very unreliable lately. VFRWorld however has been staedy as a rock. Thanks again, Michael.

    that is why I chose this site, its properly managed and I really havent had any problems here. the torro article is awesome to look at over there tho. :D

    just and fyi...I do not know why the site is down, but I can ping the servers that are listed as hosting the VFRD domain. Maybe the site is temporarily down for upgrades or maintenance or something. It also may be that bandwidth has been exceeded and the site is temporarily blocked.

    Edit: I can also ping the domain name and get a good response.

    Usually they put up nice overlimit pages if that's the case. That way your patrons know you don't buy enough...

    1and1 hosting isn't known for their reliability, so I'm guessing it's one of their typical IIS meltdowns.

    I hardly get over there any more unless I'm looking at a how-to we don't have. I have noticed their reliability to be worse than our, though. as a matter of fact, I don't remember vfrworld ever crashing.
