First post so thought I'd say HI. Looking extremely forward to getting a VFR in the near future. I once owned a 2001 KLR and I rode it from Northern Alabama to Chicago and back, then I rode it down to Daytona and back. It didn't take me long to realize that I was probably never going to leave the pavement, so I traded a guy straight up for a 2001 Suzuki SV650, and it's a great bike, tons of damn fun! Now, I want the sports bike but I also want the capacity to travel, someone turned me on to the VFR and said it was the bike to have. I sat on one at the dealership, I haven't ridden one yet but I'm pretty sure its the perfect bike... Soon she will be mine. philstill

The guys on here are great. They guided me through my virgin vfr purchase. After owning my bike for a month, I couldn't be happier.:dance:
Philstil, welcome. Just curious, which Year Model did you sit on. Wasn't sure if you were looking at the '08 Silver or an earlier year model.
