How many miles on your VFR?

How many miles or km do you guys have on your bikes?
Some of you in nicer climates do a lot more riding than I do and I was wondering how much mileage you put on in a year and how many miles can a VFR click off before it dies???:rip:
I have 27,000 km (16,777 mi) on mine and plan on putting on 100,000 km if possible.Is this do-able?
Who has the highest mileage VFR out there and how's it run?
Do most of you plan on running your bikes until they calf or do you put on "X" amount of miles and then plan to sell and replace???

I have 8000 miles on the clock, I got it on august 21st 2007 with 1800 miles on it.
My boss has a 2000 vfr with 40,000 on the clock and he let me ride it to see the difference between the 2 and it ran excellent.
Im not sure If I would rebuild my engine when it goes or buy a new bike. Depends where I am at the time

 

Got my 96 with 15k on the clock in October last year. Yesterday there was just over 20k. Easily will put 10k on her this year.

 

Just rolled 38k, on yesterdays out-n-about, now it's time for an oil change

 

I have a low mileage '00=7684 as of this afternoon. I have put on over 1200 miles since I bought it in Oct.

 

5th gen with 76,000 miles

Had a 4th gen on which I put almost 75,000 miles

i'll run mine until it explodes I'M not sure i would expect over 100k miles. i had a hurricane 600 (loved that bike) 25 k in the first year went through 3 rk 20k chains about 15 clutches and had to have over 100k on that bike speedo cable broke. i changed my oil as supposed to belray exp-exs synthetic warmed her up before every ride and ran 93 octane only had to have 2 values replaced becuase a spark plug tip burned off running 110 octane(yeah dirt bike gas to hot 4 street) other then that same starter pistons all major 3 cam chaintensioners fuel pump 1 black box(not the good kind)5 batteries.. i did not have a car i rode all year round was a great time i know the new vfr 100k no probs..........................:usa2: oh yea sold it to a friend he rode sheet outta it for a year then some bastard stole it i bet it would still be running hope that thief dies in a fire...............................

 

Read somewhere that a dude over in the UK has over 400,000 miles on a 3rd gen, and it's on it's second engine, and currently has over 400,000 on a cbr-xx something about he's into the express delivery biz.

2002 VFR with 40+K. I really thought I'd have more miles on it but things have been WAY too busy the past few years. My previous VFR (99) had 17+k in just 9 months before it was wrecked- but life was simple then and riding time was plenty.

2005 VFR with 6500 miles on it right now. Purchased it in October of 2007 with 1004 miles on it. The way I'm going I'll probably put about 15k to 18k on it a year. I plan to have it till it won't run anymore or a newer and more exciting VFR somehow magically gets released by Honda. I may get another one for my wife when she outgrows her Ninja 250.

 

1994 with only 23,000 miles. Pathetic if you ask me.

Married with a child (3 1/2). Bought the VFR with 17,000 on the clock 14 months ago. Just clicked over 28,600 miles. You just need to try harder with those miles FrankoQ!

 

My '98 VFR800 has done 98,000 Km. Intend to keep adding to that as much as I can (ie. love riding the wee beast). :biggrin:

 

08 - 145 miles

 

9900+miles since Aril 06. Should break 10K this week. I ride year round but most of the riding is between March and October.

 

bought mine end of February 2008 with 0 miles. today, almost 1400 miles. Will do over 10k this year for sure if we have a light rainy season down here.
