Hello all. I'm new to the site. New to VFR's and old in every other way except at heart. I just purchased a like new 99 and will be picking it up on sunday. Cant wait. Just have to ride the hell out of the Ninja until then. I'm currently stationed in Central California which gives me access to some great rides as long as im willing to do a lot of straight lines to get there. Hence the VFR. Glad to be here and looking forward to the experience

Welcome to the site, and congrats on the new bike. I live out by the coast in northern Cal, and know what you mean about straight lines to good roads. The roads here would be OK if it wasn't for the tourists, bumps, bicyclists and Highway Patrol. So most of my favorite rides involve the Sierra Mountains.
