This has probably been polled before but...

Is it god's greatest creation or the worst looking thing that ever strapped on two wheels.

I am more in the latter camp than the former.

It's not for me, but I like the front better than the ass.

It looks better in person, but the back is too swallow-tail for me.

Not something I would buy, but I like it. I think it looks better in person, but I also like the B-King (except the mufflers - there is already after market cans for it) and the Super Duke.

Having seen one up close, they do indeed look better than photos suggest. I must give credit where it's due. Victory said "F it, we're gonna make something NO ONE has ever seen". They did just that. About the only thing I would tell Victory is to make the saddle bags a useful size. As they are right now, they're all about following the lines of the bike & thier capacity suffers.

Would I buy one? No. If I ever buy a bike in this catagory, it will either be the Honda ST1300 (only if they finally put a 6sp in it) or a BMW.

    KC-10 FE out...

Ah, I guess you prefer to view the swallow-tail over the cockpit?

That backside has only exhaust vents and limited junk in the trunk - with the trunk being an option.

oof. that bike was better off as parts. Im all about form following function. Not just form for the sake of looking weird.

It looks like a merry-go-round chair. yikes. Back to the drawing board!

Ugh! No thanks...kudos for trying something different but to me it is ugly. The 70's bike version of the Riviera!
The B-king...eh. The Super Duke...reasonably OK (I can ride my boss's). It rides great...looks? Well, kind of form-follows-function thing going on....

And the St1300 only has a 5-speed? WTF???!!!

And of course, the VFR is so darned purdy!

    an oppinion

My dealer has a Rune on display in his window... the thing is a feast for the eyes, all the chrome, the weird Earles fork girder front end and the headlight from a 1932 Peerless touring car the designers really out did themselves.

Its cool but I work too hard for my money should I replace my Gen6 it would probably be for a retro I understand like a T100 Bonneville.

Drewl, that is the most disturbing image this site has ever put in my mind. When did *you* see your G-ma in a thong? Stuka's pictures did not do her justice.

(no grandparents were actually viewed in the conceptual phases of this post, any similarity to actual grandparents is purely coincidental)

Well, having had the oppurtunity to sit on one(Vision) it is possibly the the best thought out & comfortable bike I sat on @ the Minneapolis Cycle World show. I also like the styling, as it has the appearance of being retro while also appearing futuristic to some degree. I see you guys are hammering on the B king as well, appearance wise I'm luke warm but the fit was like slipping on a custom taylored Italian suit, you definatly feel like you are sitting in the bike not on the bike. I have added both of these bike to my short list of future "used market" aquisitions.
