Hello all. I wanted to say hi. I am currently not riding anything at the moment. As of Monday my 04 Ducati 749s was totaled due to a highside involving gravel. So after that it got me thinking of what to do with the lot of insurance money that I will be getting. Bieng a parts guy at a Honda dealership and the head salesman that rides a VFR I got into looking at them and fell in love with an 07 25th Anv. edition. Once I get the check from the insurance company I will be ordering one of them. That same day I will be ordering a set of Leo Vince slip ons thanks to this site and the sound clips. Once I get the bike I will have to post up pics for you.

Cool. I'm pretty new, too. It seems a lot of people the RWB edition of the VFR. I don't know...when I think Honda, I think red. It's dumb, I know. But I couldn't see owning a Honda that didn't incorporate red as it's primary color. Regardless, sorry to hear about the totaled bike.

You'll most likely find the VFR far more comfortable than the Duc......

    Vermillion X, warm welcome!

Strange, for me it's the other way, Honda sports bikes (Interceptor) were RWB when they came out in 1983, then it changed with the (88?) Hurricane series then the VFR came back RWB for a while:smile:

When the 2002 came out, i was very please with the lines, especially the exhaust so when the 2007 Anniversary showed up in RWB, i had to have it:faint:

Hope you survived the high side much better than the duc. You can still order and 07? or are you looking for one at another dealer?

Well to start I took the Red VFR that my dealership had in stock for a ride today. I loved it. The thing is just such a better street bike than my Duc was. Just the handling and power really surprised me. I also loved the seating position, it was alot more comfortable than what I am used to.

I cant wait to order mine. And yes you still can. The warehouse that we get out bikes from has 9 left in the RWB. And there is a dealership that is willing to send us one that is just outside the area. So there is a great chance that I can get one.

Yes, I can echo that...when I was looking for my red 07 in January, the dealer in Sierra Vista, AZ said he could order in one...they are still around. I ended up buying in Phoenix from a dealer with two in stock since he was more motivated to drop the price than a dealer that needed to order one it. Just the realities of stock, supply and demand.
