AH, 75 miles for me on Saturday, up Hwy 89 towards Florence to look for Spring wildflowers. The VFR wanted to be photographed next to its favorite color blooms. What a nice ride...that beauty acclerates effortlessly when passing a car or two. Amazing bike...wonderful ride.

Me and a couple of friends rode about 100 miles. We went into Dallas and stopped by Strokers which has some awesome bikes(currently out of my price range).

Let' see. On Saturday I rode from Baltimore Maryland to Rocky Mount North Carolina with five other bikes. Three of those were Goldwings. We called it the Ironbutt 500. It was to win a bet from a friend who moved down there and started working for Kawasaki. He had to buy us all lunch. It had looked like rain when we left but as the day wore on it only got better and better.
On Sunday I did a short 100 miles ride through the local twisty backroads with two others to get my "need for Speed" out of my system. Was a lot cooler and a bit windy but worth every moment.

    Ride Safe.....

I hear ya. If it was just wind I MAY have gone out, but when the wind kicks up here the dust becomes a real hazard. It knocks your vis down to a couple of bike lengths and puts sand in fun places like the middle of turns. You also get the bonus of coming home looking like one of Bubba Zanetti's avatars.

Yup. I guess that really changes things. Originally from the prairies up here so have experienced the dust storms. Don't get those on the wet coast though.

On Sunday, I took the VFR out west of Great Falls about 20 miles and back. I came back to the house, restored feeling back into my digits, and then proceeded to go east of town about 20 miles. I meant to come back after that but ended up riding an additional 50 miles out and back. This thing is addictive. Imagine what I'll be like when the temp gets above 45 degrees

While I'm talking about this ride, I was trying to pass this piece of garbage Pontiac Grand Prix on a hill (don't worry...passing was allowed...it wasn't a double yellow line...geez!) and this woman threw a f***in' sandwich out of her window! At almost 90 mph! WTF, mate! A whole sandwich! I gave her a well-deserved gesture, some good ol' VTEC transition, and showed her what a well-built motor is capable of. That sandwich almost hit me. Some people...

Anyone ever see Anchorman? Remember that scene with Jack Black on the cruiser? That's how I almost felt...

PuCaudata: Man! That is terrible and chaps my hide. First, it is littering and I HATE that. Second, it is "feeding" the wildlife and will probably get a bird or some critter killed as it eats off the road. And most importantly, it endangered your life. Did she know you were passing--was it intentional...cause if so....arrrrgggghhhh! Very frustrating!
