Yep you read it right, yep I knew there was another thread on the subject too, damn if I could find it. Anyway Mine went tits up today so did a quick research and price check and found the best deal along with a great time-line as the weather was great for like 5 hours and I wanted on the road asap, was the Honda version they out sourced, which turns out to be a AGM gel type made by Interstate battery.
Anyone else here have this version? any other thoughts on the subject?

Seems batterys are one of those things I have the least trouble with. I buy one from Auto Zone - trade in the old carcass and I'm set for another 3- 4 years. Guess I've been lucky.

Yeah, if you google "AGM battery", you can spend a lot of time reading about batteries and technology...

Most of my experience has been with the old style lead-acid vented batteries, which never seemed to last more than two or three years. Brave new world we live in now... well, new world anyway.

I replaced the battery last spring and wanted another Yuasa AGM battery. The shop that does a lot of work for me recommended the Interstate AGM battery and claimed it is made by Yuasa. I have no reason to doubt them and it has worked perfectly! Hope this helps.
