Sighned up a couple weeks ago and been hanging out and looking around. I see pretty much everyone here is a passionate about there VFRs as the Super Sporters, F bikes, are about ours.
I am looking to buy a VFR or VF, but GOOD GAWD, some people must think their bikes are made of gold by the prices I have seen:eek:
Well keep looking and it will be.
Glad to be aboard and have gotten some GREAT info from some very knowledgeable folks.
    Thanks,
    Chuck T.

    Thanks Stuka,
Been watching craigs for a few weeks, thats where I have seen some outrageous prices, like a 97 with no plastics, dented tank and salvage title for $2800. HUH? Oh well, like I said, "Keep watch and it will come". Meanwhile read and learn, oh yeah and ride the CB750. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Yes, don't give up. Somewhere out there your bike is waiting for you. You have but to keep the right positive and groovy attitude and the cycling gods will send it your way. Remember, Buddha rides Honda! Ah, Good Karma!

...And have a Holy Cow sandwhich for lunch!

Geez...that was way too much for a salvage title and smashed up '97. Watch how long some of them sit (seeing if they have trouble selling them), and then make them an offer of what you think it is worth for fair market value. Having some cold hard cash in their face is always hard for them to resist.

Here are two in my area (I know, far from you)....first one looks like a good deal. 51k though...still a lot of life left if she was treated well.

This one only has 6k miles on a 99!

Welcome to the forum. Check the Craigslist for San Francisco Bay Area. I just saw two listed at $2000 (94 & 95?) that looked decent. Wished I had room for them myself...

I just looked at Craig's again. They're gone; hardly surprising

    Everyone,
Yeah, I saw the 94, 95, same bike, or at least the same seller:confused: . Not surprised it went so fast. I will find what I am looking for, not in a huge hurry as I'm not without a ride. I've been checking from Reno to Fresno.
Thanks for the encouragement, I am patient. Have to be, I'm married with children:biggrin:
    See Ya,
    Chuck T.
