got my 86 vfr, seems weird though

    it needs a tune up, but that aside, I drove it down the street and it seemed very unbalanced and kinda of hard to ride, it was very cold out so maybe that had something to do with it, I had a 98 vtr 1000f last year and it would almost stand buy it self, it was totally balanced and did not seem to want to fall over, anything I am missing?

    Start with the obvious things. Tire problems (wear, grossly underinflated, etc.), brakes dragging on one side, things like that. Check the front forks to see if one side is leaking (or has leaked), fork oil, seals, etc. Check the rear shock. Probably some other basic things but those come to mind first off.

    Sounds like low tire pressure to me.

    NEVER,NEVER take out an unfamiliar bike without checking tyre pressure first.
    You don't know when the pressure was set last, tyres naturally loose air over time, and low front tyre pressure can cause a crash very easily!!!

    well you guys are 3 for 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! front tire psi 20, back tire 22 psi. d'oh!!!!!!!!! the front tier was actually showing a road patch all the way across-no chicken strips. Man, what was I thinking I guess I wasn't. Thanks bro's!
