Hey all, I've had my 98 VFR for several years. I have added the Corbin seat, GenMar risers, and most recently a luggage rack. It's a great bike but I was thinking of one of the aftermarket windshields to try to reduce wind buffeting etc. Sounds like the ZG Double Bubble gets the most favorable posts. Any other suggestions? Thanks
I have a Zero Gravity Sport Touring screen. I'm 6'2'' and it works much better than stock. Good luck with you search.
I've been using a Givi windscreen on my '98 for about a year and a half and it has worked really well, especially on long trips. It provides about a 4.5" lip at the top that directs the airflow higher than the stock windscreen. Take a look at my "Photo Gallery". The second photo is with the Givi. The third photo is with the stock windscreen. Here is a website on the Givi . . . http://www.helmetheadcyclegear.com/cgi-bin/eShop/index.cgi?pid=2689 The fit and finish is as good as the original factory screen. Easy installation. Don't leave home without it.
