Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am the proud father of a brand new (to me) 2002 Interceptor ABS. The first 5 days have been nothing but bliss as this is so much better than what I was riding when I stopped 10 years ago. The only problem I am having is a sore wrist issue that I dont remember ever having before. it doesnt seem as easy/comfortable to squeeze the tank as my last bike and I am spending more time with weight on my wrists...any suggestions? Do the 3/4 risers really make a difference..hmmm

    Anyway hi and thanks!

Yeah it is looking like the Heli Bars are the way to go for me, just unsure if I will be able to install myself..its been awhile since I worked on a bike but I am pretty competent in general assembly so who knows..the nearest dealer is only a ferry ride and 80 miles away..it will be pretty easy to get it there if I screw  something up

I will be downloading the pics tonight, in the meantime picture the most beautiful piece of artwork, emblazened in Italian Red. Now listen for the soft purring of a warm engine followed by the roar (ok earlier gen people dont get mad here) of a lion as that same piece of artwork quickly dissappears into the sunset. Kinda like passing by the most beautiful woman on the street and when you turn around she is gone, but that aching feeling in your heart, that insatiable desire to meet her, to share one word, one smile with her...that still remains...and will haunt you until you have the chance to see her again....

    I like my bike!
