    Hey People!

I finaLLY got my VFR, and I'm a' tellin' EVERYBODY!!!!!!Lucked up and grabbed a Red 05' ABS , with the factory bags already installed, with 230 miles on it for a song. I had it out last night(the day I got it) and today(41 degrees outside) and love the thing. As soon as I can get my basic skills up to par I'll be looking to find anybody and everybody in the Northern VA area that's willing to tolerate a newbie to ride with. I really appreciate the opinions of the folks in the forums. Seeing you guys on the road!

1st, Congratulations on the new ride!!!!

2nd, I really enjoyed reading your post! The excitement comes across almost electric.

For some reason I'm more excited about riding this year to the point where I'm almost ready to ride her to work in 30 deg weather. If I could just be sure that the snow won't fly, I'd be on the road.

Your new bike sounds great, please post some pics for all of us to share the experience!:drum:

Congrats! I've got the 2005 ABS in red as well...gorgous bike and rides like a dream! Keep her under 7000rpm for the first little while - until you're ready for the VTEC to kick in. Enjoy the ride!

Congratulations. I know how you feel. I just got mine in January and I love it. I can't get enough of it. I enjoy this bike more than any of the other ones I've had. I have a picture of your model on my desktop right now as wallpaper. Very pretty. btw, I had to retake my drivers lecense and I did it on the VFR just fine even though it didn't want to go that slow for the weaving and circling. Also, they want to see you shift to thrid, but you and I both know they don't want to see how fast you're actually going by the time you need to shift to 3rd!

Thanks, and right back at you on your new one too. It's been low 40's all week but I rode anyway...can't help myself. I will have to post post a pic or two as soon asI can figure out how!

Let me know if you have any trouble posting pics in the Photo Gallery. I've had at least one other user tell me that he can't get it to work. But, lots of other users have successfully posted pictures, so it's difficult to troubleshoot.

    Good for you!

If you get time to ride in Alabama, I'll show you Barber Museum and the Copperhead.

I have had mixed success. I got one out of four to post. Don't really know what's wrong there. I will try again though.
