Gear indicator

    Hello. This bike is so smooth and quiet a gear indicator would be nice. Anyone install one? I'm surprised it doesn't have one with all the other technical stuff onboard..... or am I missing it?

    Well I know the 6 gen doesn't have one. I've looked at them when I first got the bike in October because I felt the same way you do. But since then I've put 4500 miles on the bike and I guess I've becomed more in tune with the bike and I don't necessarily feel I need it anymore.

    Yeah, pretty easy. You need to solder the connections, wire colors are provided in the directions. Took me a couple hours from start to finish.

    Hey, they make a Plug N Play version for the VFR that plugs behind the instrument panel. I wish someone would post a detailed write up of the process of installing one.
