after clutch replacement bike wont start

    you mean the one that pops out and rolls down into the sump where you can't get it out, if you pull the clutch lever while the clutch is out? Oh, thaaaaaat one. :rolleyes:

    well i can rule that out thank god because i was oh so carfull to not pull the clutch and i used the block of wood trick to be sure , so now which way should the judder spring face i have an idea but i'm not 4 sure

    Just look at the old metal band and match the wear ring on the band with the judder spring and you will be able to tell which way it was facing , and very important is to make sure the (narrow)friction band is the (first) to go on , my first clutch change i didnt notice it was more narrow than the others and it wont let the clutch engage and it will cause the problems that love4vfr was experiencing good luck :) and hope your riding again soon
