'07 RWB, love the bike, comfortable, yet still a sportbike, and I don't see many around like it. After more than 7,000 miles logged on it, I love it just like the day I bought it. The bike always gets lots of compliments. I uprgraded from an '06 Kawasaki Z750S naked bike and couldn't be happier now.

I ride a 1997. Had a 1996 for a while and regretted selling it. I can fix whatever goes wrong on the carburated model with my own tools. It's all stock with exception of a Stiantune slip on which I think sounds pretty good. Couldn't find a picture.

I ride a Y2K yellow VFR. I bought the bike as an accident victim,so I worked on it plenty before I ever rode it. If I can afford to do so, I am going to get it painted in the anniversary silver and red. eddie

P.S -Hey Vlad Impaler- I once took a bike home in the crate, I knew the dealer pretty well,so he let me do it. It was the coolest thing to put it together, like breathing life into the machine.

i have a 97, red of course. bought it in july of 07 used. best bike i have ridden. i was originally looking at an R6 but couldn't afford the insurance. so the salesman showed me this bike and i bought as soon as i sat on it. i've tried several bikes, this one just has the perfect feel for the riding i do. so i look forward to many years of great riding on this bike.

ok i'm running a little late but i've got 12,000 mi. on my 06(black is the fastest color). i've had a 84 vf500f, and a86 vfr700 in the past, and loved both also. the year doesn't matter as long as you don't let it sit.

"new" '06 never ridden and won't be until some semblance of riding weather returns to the frozen north. Previous ride was an '04 Honda shadow spirit which I was really happy with until I kept running into Veefers at bike shows, showrooms and, the nail-in-the-coffin for me, a long conversation with a guy in Watkins Glen who was riding an '06 Pearl Black and from then on I wasn't able to get my mind off her until I bought my Pearl White off the showroom floor about a month ago.

on my third 2nd gen viffer now. first an 86 model 700F2, then a run down 87 model 700F that was really no better than a parts bike, then my current 87 model 700F2 that i rode the crap out of till the plastic literally started falling off of it, and now its all nice and restored and back on the road kicking as much ass as any vfr ive seen. they just dont make em like they used to.

    Hi
This is evad. I ride a Yellow 2000 VFR and love it. Rented a 2006 VFR while on a trip to England and the Isle of Man in 2007 and didn't like it as well.

    2002 rider here-
I've had her for two seasons and have been slowly making her my own. So far I have added heated grips, throttle lock, new chain & sprockets (+2 rear), speedo healer, removed the ugly passenger grab handles, gutted the stock cans, and sharpened up the handling with Metzler Z6's.
I love this bike and wouldn't trade her for the world, but........
I recently made the "mistake" of taking a 2001 gen 5 for a rip and now find myself searching the 'net for a nice gen 5 to add to the stable! I am a hopeless addict now!

The Mrs. has a 1992 gen 3 modified and set up for her, we had previously had an early 1982(true gen 1 nitemare motor) magna v-45. she loved the power and smoth delivery of the v-45 but it bandled like a cement truck. Still more of an inline 4 guy myself. But was waiting on the now wasted dream of a VFR1000, Im now looking at the 1 liter v-twin superbike as my next ride.
