Mopeds are now king. And no the rap/video is not a joke. The rapper dude is seriously rapping about riding, modifying and operating mopeds with his Moped gang named "Murder Club."

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_kIUSr7-is

I'm selling off the VF500F for a rejetted Tomos with racing slicks and biturbo setup. I'll throw a kit on that bitch and join "Murder Club."

Side Question: Do you wave at moped/scooter riders? I do, they never seem to wave back. :frown:

    Lyrics:

Throw a Kit - Hollywood Holt ft.Million Dollar Mano

    Hollywood
    Million Dollar
    Murder Club
    Pedz
    Peddy Cash
    HEY!

    *Chorus*
    Million Dollar gettin' that
got it from Curt (Curt Cameruci) or Pat (Patrick Turner)
Gimme that step through, yeah cause I need that
Throw a KIT on that bitch, just bought a moped
Throw a KIT on that bitch, just bought a moped

    Hollywood gettin' that
got it from Curt or Pat.
Gimme that top tank and yo I need that
Throw a KIT on that bitch, just bought a moped
Throw a KIT on that bitch, just bought a moped

    Million Dollar gettin' that
got it from Curt or Pat
    Murder Club on the hoodie
    Murder Club fresh Tatt
If I got a fine bitch, I'mma throw her on the back
Brake release feed on the peds, pull the throttle back
    Bitches in the parking lot
    Man, fuck the scene Ho
Fiona Apple lookin' bitches, man I'm straight yo.
Can't ride too long, I smell like a lawn mower
But I'd rather ride my ped, than get inside a car door.
    "Is that a scooter?" No.
"Can I buy it from you?" No.
I don't care about you tho, you can't buy it from me yo.
Police try to take me though, when I'm riding in the door
My shit was going slow, so I had to go Pirelli Pro.

    *Chorus*

I never fall, I never slip.
Cause I just got on ebay and I got some racing slicks.
And plus I just broke in my brand new Tomos Proma kit.
With a biturbo, when it's jetted up it's fast as shit.
    Yeah man I'm killin it.
Yeah, that's right I said I got a bigger jet.
Ridin' clean on my top tank Targa LX.
I only ride Tomos, but I got a few Garellis,
plus a couple Puchs and some bikes that rhyme with Minarellis

    *Chorus*

Murder club is the gang and we're rollin' mad deep.
Ridin' out with Peddy Cash and we killin' these streets.
Any other gangs try to step we don't meet defeat,
like this gang called Bloody Spokes, but them niggas mad weak.
We don't pay them no mind, 30 niggas wanna ride
meet up at Curt's house and we hit the south side.
Watch out for the police, all through the Chi.
If they see you ridin' peds, they gonna pull you to the side.
So we always ride in packs, stay together fo' sure.
If your headlights going out, just jiggle the cord.
Mopeds are always broke, but they easy to fix.
But we stay ridin' clean, steady rollin' all you tricks.

    *Chorus*

They apparently never heard of the saying:

"mopeds and fat chicks are both the same category; thery are both fun to ride until your friends see you"

I learned to ignore what my friends thought about who/ what I rode. Also, most 'friends' who get on you are not really your friends in the end.

In the end I had alot more fun than they did and more "saddle time"

Being a gentlemen pays big dividends:)!

I wave at scooter riders, the ones that are scooters big enough to require a motorcycle license. I don't wave at mopeds, those people are DUI offenders (around here at least) and aren't on them out of a love of two wheels.

how much do those cost? id rather have an old ninja 250. yeesh.

i love how no matter how ghetto the rapper is, he is still claiming "bitches, tats, and murder". these fools need to get over it.

i dont wave to mopeds, unless it is a funny one.

LMAO!!! That was awesome!! Made my morning.

I can see it now, drive by shootings on a moped. Not much of a get away vehicle. :)

Which "grill" will catch more bugs?

The motorcycle gang just isn't what it used to be.

Don't these scooters now-a-days run up to 600cc? I come across this one scooter every now and then on my way to work and when I come up on him, you can see him trying to get on it and when I blow by him, he tries to hang with me. There is a light just past this section and he often tries to outdrag me from the light. The VFR just walks away from him, but the guy is insane.

For the most part, I don't consider scooters to be true motorcycles. My buddy has his motorcycle license by taking his test on a scooter, but yet he has no idea how to operate a manual clutch. How does that make any sense?

I don't recall seeing an Iron Maiden anywhere, but that reminds me.

My apologies to 56kers. This was an image I made with 3D Studio Max. I don't know if you're familiar with it, but it allows you to make and animate 3D Geometry. It's frequently used in the videogame and movie industries.

I thought of this image when I was thinking about what I wanted to model and listening to Aces High my Iron Maiden. It's kinda just reflection of the risk motorcyclists take. The player has the full house, but what happens in the off chance another player has that last King?

So is this the 'gangsta' version of the British Mod-types? Is that rap song the new anthem of the scooter rider, soon to be replacing Quadrophinia? Crazy stuff.

Yes, we may be out of style, but it seems that stupidity is always in style.

Decorum dictates that I not express my true feelings about that, or other RAP/Hip-Hop videos.

I had to look up all those things you mentioned, but yeah, it does seem like this is a ghetto US version of the mod scene.

I could never get as passionate about mopeds as 'Hollywood Holt' does... but he and his "murder club" do what makes them happy. I can respect that.

I mean, I used to ride Go-Peds (stand up motorized scooters) when was in my early teens around my community and to/from my first job. I had a ported big bore kit and aftermarket carb on it. It was my introduction into the world of two wheels and I probably wouldn't have had any interest in motorcycles if I hadn't started on two wheels when I did.

I'm sure he'll be the one laughing when he starts making major bank off of rapping about Mopeds and his Murder Club. Assuming no one from "Bloody Spokes" rubs him out.

I wasn't serious when I said VFRs were out of style. I was merely making a mockery of the fact that since a new coming rapper sang about something, it's immediately the new "in" thing.

I hope you didn't think that I meant you were stupid. I was referring to the rappers. You're right; one rapper did a video where he was riding a sport bike, and you see what happened with that. Come to Myrtle Beach or Daytona Beach the week after "bike week" and see what populates those cities. There are more stretched Busas than you can shake a stick at....but it's best if you don't happen to be the white face in that crowd...............

Nono, I caught your drift. My response was unclear, sorry about that.

We should go pay Snoop Dog to rap about motorcycle safety and responsible riding.
