Well I've been a member and a lurker for the last year. Thought it was about time to post-up and say "Hi". So, Hi! sPOTO
Welcome aboard!! You're in a great area for riding.... once the snow clears up. I was up in North Ogden this past summer for a reunion and really enjoyed the traveling (unfortunately in a cage) because of the great scenery.
Welcome to the forums. There isn't many of us from Utah here.... in fact I think with you now it makes two. LOL So have you had your Viffer for a year now, longer, or still drooling on the bikes in the show room. Well if there WERE any in the show rooms. When I bought mine I called around to all the SLC area dealers, not one of them had one for sale on the show room floor. I found one in Provo that had an employee who owned one and offered to let me take a look at it and sit on it. I'm not in the SLC area, more central eastern Utah. Great canyon roads here for riding. Just have to avoid all the damn semi's.
Welcome Poto! Nice to have ya. You have another member in Utah named "taz" as well. He has a bike or two you could say.
Thanks for the welcome. Mine is an 04 and I've had it since 05. I've got just over 20,000 miles on it. There is a few VFR's in Utah, I know I've seen them. People just don't get on the boards much I guess. I ride with a couple of other VFR buddies in Salt Lake. One rides a red 02 and the other rides a yellow 00. We're big on rides through Monte Cristo up to Bear Lake. Wolf Creek Pass and Highway 12 to Escalante. Once we get rid of this freakin' snow we should meet up for a ride. See ya sPOTO
+1 here. I see a VFR or two almost every time I ride more than a hundred miles here, so there are indeed more than a few of us. Hoping for a decent weekend ahead, so I can get some new shoes on my VFR!
