Ride in East TN??

I am tossing around the idea of hosting a weekend ride in East TN in Johnson City/Jonesborough TN. When would be a good time for everyone? The riding around here is great!! and the food!! Should be a great weekend if some of us can get together.

 

After it warms up, before it gets hot Other than that I'd be interested.

 

I'm thinking around the weekend of May 31 or June 7? Somewhere in there.

 

That far ahead, maybe I can get Bubba Z to ride over with me...

 

It'd be great to have as good a turn out as the VFRD guys had back in the fall. I didn't go, but I hear they had about 15 bikes!
And just think of the tons of comedy materal Noz would take away after a few days in the south.

 

Maryland "The Old Line State" has a border with Pennsylvannia that is called the Mason-Dixon Line. This line historically divided the Northern States from the Southern "Slave" States. So to infer that we lack redneck creditials would be a misinformed inference. :argue:

I'll have to take some pictures of my nieghbor's yard, the house down the road with the tires around the large trees and some of the other places that would make Eddie feel right at home with his banjo on his knee.

I'm hoping I can jam with Eddie. Not to brag too much I'm damn good on Country-style shoe horn. :violin:

Besides one of my two front teeth was knocked out and the replacement cover is starting to turn darken... I'll look like a local except for the intelligent gleam in my eyes. :brushteeth:

When I get a feel for how many riders we might have, I'll check the rates at the Americinn here in Jonesborough, for anyone intrested. If we have enough, I might be able to get a better rate.

 

I'm in (depending on work schedule)
