Whoa! I thought mine needed some work. Yikes, someone really let that one go. Hey Speed, do u know if the 86's are supposed to have a kick stand kill switch? I see you have many and thought you should know. I was out w mine tday and noticed that it doesnt have one.

ye know, i dont think so i might be wrong but i base this on the fact that everyone i ever owned didnt have it but we should have a true answer soon im sure someone will correct me amd then we will know

 

Yeah, I thought it was odd, that there isnt one on it. I dont have a problem remembering to put it up before I ride, its like second nature to do it, just know that my last few bikes had one.

 

This could be useful. If the gearbox is ok it would be a great part´s bike for my old one....

DAN, those switches were not fitted on VFRs until, i think, 1994

 

Thank you speed. But my problem is being locaded in Iceland. so shipping is costs both arm and leg.

 

Iceland is a beautiful, clean country and letting that old street-wise crack whore in would be a sad day for all.
