Hey VFR World, It was nice to sell that V-strom 650 and grab a 98 VFR 800. And I like it more than the 04 vfr 800 I sold 2 yeas ago. Maybe it's the Two Brothers pipe with Power Comander already in it. And maybe it's the non-Vtech motor. But I just got it with 15 k miles and So far So good. I've had 10 different bikes in the last 20 years and this is the first time I bought something like I already had before. At least I bought a used one so that my wife and kids can still eat sushi when they want it. I'll post a picure this week. Steve, Central Coast
The DL650 might have been more fun around town but it's not that attractive to me and I knew a local guy who wanted to buy it and go on some adventures. I kept it stock and still got 5 grand for it. Resale is good on both bikes.
