I can't believe we now have 50 6th Gen riders in our group! In all honesty, I was kind of surprised when the roll call hit 25 :biggrin:

BTW: nicolausmc, that red VFR looks pretty good at Laguna! I'm hoping we can organize a substantial group of folks of all Gens for a get together at MotoGP this year. A group photo at Laguna, with as many VFR's of all Gen's as possible, would certainly make the VFR World Calender for 2009. Hell, it might even show up in RedRider magazine. The fact that Honda has a hospitality tent for all of us Honda owners, would give us a great clubhouse! As the event grows closer I will start trying to rally the troops. I know I'm in!

OK here is the latest on the patch front. If we can get an order of 50 together it will only cost $3.09 per patch plus shipping and handling. The lead time is about 12 days from the final approval of the sample. I'm requesting a finished sample of the patch to approval which i will let everyone see before the order. So far I have confirmed 3 people who want a total of 10 patches. There are over 50 of us now so if everyone else gets a least one patch we can cover the cost of a 50 unit run without a problem.

I'll post soon with the embroidered sample then I'll be asking for final confirmation before the order. As for payment, I'm thinking about Paypal. Does anyone have any objections to using that service??? For shipping I'm also thinking of asking for each purchaser to send me a self addressed stamped envelope. This will make my complicated life :loco: a little more simple! :juggle:

SilverSurfer800. I am interested in a patch but the postage paid envelope may be a problem for those of us in Canada or elswhere for that matter. Not sure if I can get a US stamp up here.

 

I'll take one sell em for 5-10 bucks, then you have a left over to develop the kick as camo logo's T-shirt to go with it!

 

This is true about the envelope thing. I can work something out for our over the border and across the sea friends! If i ship it direct it shouldn't cost too much more to get it to Canada and beyond. My work has a scaled postage meter that I can use to calculate the postage for non-US sales. I'll check a few things out for you.

OK, you 6th Gen guys, the time is now. You have all got to step up and represent. Silversurfer has taken this on himself and it is up to the rest of us to show our appreciation. I think the self addresses stamped envelope is more than acceptable, if you live in the continental US. For the rest of you folks, I think that we can figure something out to make sure you folks are included in Sliversurfers program.

Start posting now, you guys! We cannot pass up this opportunity. I want to see some 6th Gen Militia representation!
