    Hey guys,
I've had this bike for about 2 weeks now and the more I ride, the more I like. It has the Wolf exhaust on it and it looks and sounds great. I did notice that after the one good ride I took there were some scuff marks on the pipes. I have since clicked up the preload by 2 notches, but haven't taken a good ride since.
Anyone know anything at all about this exhaust system? I haven't been able to find anything in my own searches and wanted to know if anyone out there can provide some info.
    Thanks,
    RG

hi, welcome , you have a nice ride there... i also have a 5th gen with
the wolf carbon fiber exhaust and am very happy with it... i really cannot help with the settings because i have only had the vfr for about 5 weeks
and have not experienced any rubbing, i have searched for info on the system, their web site is wolfracing.co.uk i also did read some comments about rubbing when riding two up... the install on my bike sees pretty well made, imo, the license plate bracket is made of carbon fiber i did post some pics of exhaust on my gallery ... again welcome , you will find a great deal of info and helpful friends here...

    Where?

That is one of sexiest exhaust systems i have ever seen! Takes advantage of that killer single swing arm look! Where do we get this system!?!? And what is the damage?

I've got some pics in my gallery. The Wolf system isn't available any longer from Wolf. They did have some rubbing issues early on and the later systems shipped with a different dogbone to raise the rear a little. Original cost was around $1200. They were also sold with titanium canisters which were available with optional inserts (UK only) to reduce sound. I had the system for awhile but it generated to much underseat heat for my liking, and was a little too loud for me.

That '00 is nice, I saw that on Craigslist for awhile, glad someone snatched it up.

Bummer, oh well, guess i have to find something else. Although while i was changing tires this weekend i did fire her up for a few w/o the can on. Holy moly! I loved the sound and i dont normally like loud bikes. But someone likeled the sound to an old skool hot rod sound and i would agree, it was impressive.

Does anybody have any reason they discontinued it? I understand it's not a perfect system & pricey, but man, they are beautiful.
