I decided to give the VFR a PROPER warmup today- 33 here in SLC and I hung in for 50 miles or so. Started out planning to go to the gas station, and top off my 2/3rds full tank (stabilized) since the roads looked OK. Of course ATGATT, so after I topped off - I thought to me self, "self, it's a sort-of-sunny day, it's gonna snow tomorrow, and the next time you ride might be next week in France (unlikely-tight schedule), or not until spring". Boy am I glad I did. Still grinning. Beats the crap out of skiing too. Though, it is a little harder to wipe your nose...
Good for you, I went for a sort scoot on the Hawk, then got back & did a little shopping & worked on the bikes in the sunny driveway in my shorts & tee shirt I think it got up to 34 here in Utah county, & verry sunny out. It was a very nice day !
Don't worry, I'm from SoCal (moved here 2.5 years ago) & you get used to it, but good luck with the way these people drive up here scary very scary Hmm, maybe thats why I go back down to SoCal & San Diego area at lest once a month
