mirrors w/ turnsignals

    Does anyone have these? Recomend them?

    Yep...Definately. Increases the visability to oncoming traffic or those about to pull out on you. Fitted mine (with LEDs) and noticed the difference. Brian

    That thread is interesting, but since those seem to be LED signal mirrors, you can get even more visibility doing this:

    Hook the hot lead up to the headlight, or tail light. My '83 has a spare lead that fills this role perfectly, I dunno about newer models.

    Then, hook the ground up to the HOT lead for the stock signals. Since the stockers use incandescent bulbs, the LED's will get a good ground through them (unless the bulb is burned out). Then you turn on the bike, the mirrors will light up steady... when you turn on the turn signal, they will go out in time with the turn signal. I think these are called "wig-wag" signals, since the two sets of signals alternate. GM has been doing this on their cars since the seventies.
