This might seem simple, but are there any tips for removing and installing the rear wheel? Snug up the lugs with the wheel of the ground and then torque them to some amount with the wheel on the ground? Bike in gear, out of gear, etc? A few pointers would be appreciated.

Oh, I guess while I'm asking, can I get some chain adjustment tips? Is there a hard stop when the chain is at minimul length/stretch? If so, how about a maximum position? Unfortunately I don't have the C-wrench and I probably should pick one up.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Some things are simplier then they look and I assume you have a later model VFR with single sided swing arm. First the rear wheel break the lugs with the bike on the ground then get the back end up if using the center stand make sure you support the rear and remove the rest of the lugs but be sure you can get the wheel out easily without removing the exhaust this is not always the case and you don't want to be screwing around with the wheel and the exhaust at the same time. I'd torque the wheel back on to specs once on the ground just snug the lugs on when off the ground.

The chain without the tool that comes with the tool kit you won't be able to do it. There is no stop that I know of and it's imperative you do this properly and check the chain's tightness several times moving the bike each time to make sure it's not too tight. Also make sure you retighten the bolt that loosens the hub after you are done torquing to specs is preferred.
