the NWS has some good news for Central and Northern California riders, finally:clap2: WITH THE DEPARTURE OF THE SYSTEM LATE THURSDAY WE WILL USHER IN WHAT LOOKS TO BE A LENGTHY PERIOD OF NICE WEATHER AS AN IMPRESSIVE RIDGE BUILDS ALONG THE WEST COAST. BOTH THE CPC 6 TO 10 AND 8 TO 14 DAY FORECASTS HAVE US WITH BELOW NORMAL PRECIPITATION WHILE THE GFS AND ECMWF ALSO KEEP THE RIDGE IN PLACE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. HIGHS SHOULD AVERAGE ABOVE NORMAL FOR THE PERIOD. After a couple of days to dry out the roads it looks like Sunday could usher in a chance for us to get out and ride (instead of just modifying, washing and waxing). Forecasted highs will be in the low 60's Saturday through Tuesday and it looks like it might hold for awhile.
was just reading an email from a local alluding to the same fact. mayhaps we'll be heading up your way this weekend. i'll post more when I know. never know, hell, I may end up down south...
It doesn't really matter where you go, as long as your out soaking up some sun and hitting on all 4 cyclinders. Good times, they are a comin'!
