you could buy the bent forks...powder coat the lowers your choice of color...then swap out your stock lowers for newly powder coated lowers..maybe its not the seller that is stupid, but the ones who write it off as useless junk.

I miss my ACE even though I still get to ride it every now and then. That was my first street bike. Kinda' like your first girlfriend, you always look back with good memories.

........Yep, there's lots of good useable parts inside that bent fork. I once bought a set of bent forks just for their internals. (LE - valves and springs):caked:

Alright... so the forks have some value...

But a warped rotor? He may as well be selling a stripped out bolt or a bent brake lever...

With a little indoor/outdoor carpet applied, the rotor could make a great garage coaster for large beer mugs...........................

depending on how warped, might be able to resurface, but seems silly to buy it, to try it, when the chances are not overwhelming

having sold quite a bit of stuff on EBay over the years (an I have a HUGE pile now that needs to go) I have been constantly surprised both at how much and sometimes how little I have gotten for something. You just need two people who want something.

Maybe you could make a cool, "garage" clock out of the rotor?

    No, never got it going!

I actually salvaged a few as shortys on strange locomotive projects. The rest get melted down in the home foundry and recast as other usefull items. (journal boxes, coupler pockets, etc)
