I want to get an aftermarket slip on exhaust system. After looking for a while .I noticed none of the vfr exhaust systems have four outlet tips. The stock exhaust has four outlets . It is a siginture trate of the vfr .I dont suppose any one makes something like that?

you're very lucky to be able to see that part of the world. i envy you. it makes sense that it is displayed in a hardware store. he was so unpretentious, just like most of people in that country. thanks for the pic.

laser exhaust systems are very expensive. i bet that set up is close to $1000

As the new owner of low mileage 2004 VFR, I've been also researching exhaust systems.

The Lasers caught my eye; like you, I'd like to keep the signature 4 outlet look of the stock system. They sound good (you can hear a sound clips on the laser website). They also list dyno info, and it looks like they are good for an increase throughout the rev range, and a good 4 to 5 hp on top. Interestingly, I thought they sounded much better (deeper and less harsh) with the "off road only" spud in. You can hear a comparison of Stock, Street, and "off road only" on the site.

My only concerns would be weight (more hardware than comparable systems), possible alignment issues, and heat issues for passengers.

I've seen several threads that refer to the Lasers and owners that have installed them. Maybe they can share their experiences...

I have also seen threads from suppliers selling the systems for around $700 USD. Hope this helped some...

I think I am digging this exhaust . I don't like the four pipe set up on the Z 1000 Kawasaki from a few years back but this I may go for . It cost 822.00 mail order +shipping
